How this date calculator works
The date difference calculator counts every calendar day between your two dates, then breaks the result down into weeks, months and years. It also counts working days (Monday through Friday) separately, which is handy for project planning, payroll and deadlines.
Why count working days?
For business use, calendar days and working days are very different. A 14-day project started on a Monday might span 20 calendar days once weekends are included. Our built-in working-day counter gives you the number of business days at a glance, so you can plan deliveries and invoices accurately.
