Check if a product has been recalled

Search recalls by brand, product, or hazard type — then learn the status, the remedy, and what to do next.

Find a recall

Type a brand, product, or hazard (e.g. "NovaTech", "heater", "fire"), and narrow by category and status. Click any card for details.

Demo data notice: This is a demonstration database. Every recall shown is a synthetic example scenario using fictional brand names. These are not real-time and not real recall notices — official data will connect to CPSC, NHTSA, FDA, and other public recall sources.

How this works

RecallRadar is a product-recall lookup and safety reference organized into six categories: automotive, electronics, home, kids, food, and outdoor.

Each recall entry shows the brand, the product, the type of hazard (such as a fire risk or a choking hazard), the date, whether the recall is still active, and the remedy the manufacturer is offering — a repair, a refund, or a replacement. A dedicated detail page for every entry adds a plain-language hazard description and a general four-step guide to what you should do when a recall notice appears.

Two other views make the data easier to browse. The latest recalls timeline lists recent entries in reverse-chronological order, and the categories page groups recalls by product type so you can scan, for example, every children’s-product recall in one place.

Important note on the data: this site currently publishes a demonstration database — 30 synthetic "typical scenario" entries with fictional brand names such as AcmeHome and NovaTech. They are illustrative only and are not live recall notices. The plan is to connect the same interface to official public recall sources, including the CPSC, NHTSA, and FDA. Until then, treat every entry as an example rather than a real alert.

To see the demonstration records another way, open the latest list or the category list. Official recall data is not connected yet.
